The Okapi Press is an independent publisher which seeks to produce high quality literature, promoting zoos, their history, their work, and their cultural value.
In 2022, the Okapi Press published The Zoos of Britain and Ireland - a guide to 51 of the best zoos in Ireland and the UK. Having quickly sold out its first print run, a limited number of the books were reprinted in 2023.
The Okapi Press team has produced a number of zoo guidebooks, with more to come..
